 was founded in 2007 by Janine
Vojtesak.
 After
spending the last 7 years shackled and bound to the
correctional system I gained valuable knowledge on how
deficient the system really is. My goal was to incorporate
this knowledge and experience into a board game to help
enlighten others on just how hard it is to get out of the
system once you’re in.
The
concept of my game, Parole-Board, parallels what one may
experience as they make their journey through the criminal
justice system, (Courts, Prison, and Parole). It is based on
actual events, violations and regulations. Parole-Board is not
only a teaching game but also a drinking game, if you choose.
With humorous puns and satires interwoven into scenarios this
game brings hours of intoxicating fun for everyone. I
initially created the game to help others making the
transition back into society by using some of the proceeds for
programs that actually work in helping one obtain employment.
Due to stigmatization it was extremely difficult for me to
find a job, and the game turned into an opportunity for me to
generate an income and start rebuilding my life.
I FINALLY
MADE IT HOME! So pick up the dice and see if you can make it
all the way home before you get slapped with another charge,
and end up back in the slammer.
